Guru Purab And The Fervour To Evoke Spirituality Amongst The Liberals!

"Burn worldly love,

rub the ashes and make ink of it,

make the heart the pen,

the intellect the writer,

write that which has no end or limit."

Guru Nanak, Sri Guru Granth Sahib

Every year, Gurpurab celebrations take place across the country, as it is the main Sikh festival. Gurpurab celebrates the birth anniversary of the revered Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

The first Guru of Sikhs, Guru Nanak Dev Ji is the founder of Sikhism. Also known as Guru Nanak Jayanti, Gurpurab is celebrated with immense enthusiasm among the people belonging to the Sikh community. It is one of the main Sikh festivals.

Sikhs carry out processions, visit Gurdwaras to offer prayers, conduct langars and make merry as a part of Gurpurab celebration each year.

For the first time in my life, I was amazed to serve humanity along with my colleagues in premises of my institution where celebration is a frequent occurrence.

The students, teachers, and others came to celebrate such a unique day of togetherness yesterday. I could witness the prayers, feasts, and religious fervor amongst the gatherers that enjoyed the day very much.

I can say for certain that such festivities evoke the spiritual healing in such a rat-race for throat-cut competition. It was a memorable day worth reminiscing. This must go on to inspire humanity!
