Totalitarian Life Or Diet Sans Onion Garlic Has Same Strict Regime!

Outdoor food habits are liberal for almost everyone. But those following a certain sect or religion might feel insecure if the food on the table outside doesn't seem to be Vaishnav.

This land of Gods has a number of communities that have adapted to vegetarian practices. There seems no magic behind this practice. But purity of mind, body and meditation is also necessary in certain communities and sects.

Roadside restaurants publicize on the Billboards that they serve only pure vegetarian food ( shudh vaishno dhaba). So it can be said with aplomb that in this fast evolving modern world people still are clinging to their pure and spiritual rituals.

Today, I went to a nearby restaurant to have my lunch. Though I don't usually go outside to have food. It just a compulsion.

The waiter didn't wait for my preferences and served me a plate full of onion and cucumber salad.

I can surmise that people generally like such salads to start the food with. I couldn't mince my words.

Curry pakora, chhole, chapatis, and rayta were ordered for lunch as there was no menu and a number of items to look for.

As I could see the difference between them was apparent there. 30 to 50 gram veggies were served and the bill was quite high for such an order and item.

Now I can say with dare that home-made food has no rival all over the world if the chef at home has put the proper effort in preparing the dishes.

Everyone except me was savoring their food with a lot of concentration and taste. Nonetheless I took my own lunch and felt cheated to eat out again.

I don't doubt the chefs outside. But social media has made me skeptical about the preparation methods and other things involved.

"It's always a personal choice to select a proper food in any form!"

But purity and hygiene remain the priority and primary factor.
