Journey To The ETERNITY Comes With Daily Chores.
TIME is not a man-made phenomenon. It's eternal, affecting all with no exception in the whole Universe. It's life in other words.
Today like before, I woke up without the weird, harsh alarm clock sound. It's just a natural push and shove towards my day chores.
Like any other days, temple visit is my first preoccupation to pay obeisance to the Almighty.
I must be emphasized here that I'm a secular person in public and religious in private. So, controversial scenes are to be avoided from the sceptics.
The temple that is surrounded by peepal(Ficus religiosa) and Banyan trees is a quarter of a mile away from my residence.
A bucket full of water to offer on the Shiva Lingam is quite a spiritual thing in this subcontinent to attain all kinds of wishes. Wishes differ in degrees and intensities. I'm never the first to reach there.
A number of men and women devotees try to please the supreme deities and the Almighty there with sweets, flowers, and other offerings.
But I feel no jealousy in such things that are beyond our comprehension.
On the way I see the darkness and tranquility of the early morning. Even dogs are snoring at this point of the time in the street.
I feel secure in their presence. It is quite ridiculous to tiptoe quietly not to awaken the stillness.
Though this is a short spiritual journey. Whenever I enter the temple premises I feel relief from other concerns of my day schedules. Prostration before the deities there gives us a spiritual bliss.
When I am at home again I scramble to find the most necessary thing to accomplish first when I set out for my office.
Nowadays, these are the FREE days from my routine and fixed work. So I decide according to my priorities.
First of all, when it's not a Sunday, I try to read the national and international news to figure out the happenings occuring and happening around the globe and in space.
The Hindu, the Indian Express, the Economist and the Foreign Policy give a complete perspective on almost all spheres of life.
Then I try to jot it down in my diary, my pendencies and next activities.
Now I think these things are common among the people who feel anxious about the perfection to achieve a balanced life without any hiccups in such a modern life.
